Description
While walking in the Catalina Foothills, Tucson, AZ, I noticed a number of beautiful Queen Butterflies swarming around a Gregg's Blue Mist flower. They are often mistaken for the Monarch Butterflies. The Queen butterfly has white spots on its hindwings, distinguishing it from the Monarch. The Queen butterfly is a North and South American butterfly in the family Nymphalidae with a wingspan of 70–88 mm
