Artist's Description

I saw this beautiful Peafowl at the Reid Park Zoo, Tucson, AZ. He was showing off for his lady, the Peahen. The Peacock origin is Asia and the blue Peacock specifically has origins in India. They are commonly called Indian peacocks and peafowls.
They are Omnivore which means they eat both plants and animals.
Peacocks are among the biggest flying birds on earth. The eye-like spots on the tail feathers are called ocelli. A muster, pride, or ostentation refers to a group of these birds.

I am Adrienne Wilson. I was raised in the Military, moving frequently. My husband and I moved to Lake Havasu City in 1991, which is along the Colorado River, in the beautiful State of Arizona. They call it the "Home of the London Bridge" but it is so much more!! Capturing Nature's images has been a passion of mine from a very early age. From the smallest butterfly to majestic mountains, flowers and sea shores, wildlife and sunsets...there is such beauty everywhere you turn. Thank you for visiting and please enjoy!!
